Green Beret Heroes

Michelle Malkin had this post today, and I just had to share it, after I was done standing up and saluting these men.  Heroes, to the last man.  You can read the post at Honoring the heroes of Operational Detachment Alpha 3336, 3rd Special Forces Group  Be sure to watch the video.  WP won’t allow me to post it here because it’s flash, but this is a must see.

A day that will live in infamy

Still.  America must never forget that attacks come, and we have to defend ourselves, and that we must always be prepared.

A *salute* for all who have served.

A good post over at Michelle Malkin today.

Home soon

I don’t recall which one of these I saw first, but once I’d seen them both, they stood together in my mind, like chocolate covered cherries – awesome separately, amazing together.  ;)   The video is dramatic in the differences before and after the Surge, and I hope you get a chance to watch it.  Actually, I highly encourage you to watch it.  Here is a link to an article about the video (h/t Backyard Conservative).  A picture’s worth a thousand words, and a video even more.  And when I see the video, I think of the families, the friends and loved ones, and the puppehs too, waiting for our troops to come home.

Excellent work, Troops!!  *salute*  We’re waiting to welcome you home!

Non-Muslims Deserve to Be Punished

There are many peaceful Muslims out there.  Sadly, there are many who are not, and we need to keep them exposed so we know who they are.  Tolerance is good to a point.  We should not be tolerant of intolerance, like Muslim extremists.  They would just as soon kill us for our tolerance.

Report: Non-Muslims Deserve to Be Punished

A report posted on Islam Watch, a site run by Muslims who oppose intolerant teachings and hatred for unbelievers, exposes a prominent Islamic cleric and lawyer who support extreme punishment for non-Muslims — including killing and rape.

We need you, Ron!!

Do you miss Ron?  I know I do.  Over on American Thinker, William Staneski has put together a collection of videos of a speech Reagan gave on behalf of Barry Goldwater back in 1964.  A classic of enduring relevance

What’s amazing is that listening to these tapes, Ron’s words still sparkle with life and vitality, with Patriotism and American values, and with relevance for our country today.  Oh, my heart hurts!  I miss him so!
