I saw this in my Reader, and immediately a Bob Parks post from Black & Right sprang to mind.

My thought was, “Yeah, never stoop to calling your opponents ‘Nazis’ … you mean like THIS?”

When Free Speech Shouldn’t Be (from Black & Right)

I’m afraid the right wing Republicans are miles behind when it comes to almost eight years worth of presidential-Hitler analogy, and Lisa Derrick knows this as well (I will take it for granted that she has some intelligence). But seeing how Barack Obama has perpetuated most of George W. Bush’s terror and war policies, and has imposed an authoritarian nature to our government that makes his predecessor look like a bush leaguer, I’d be very careful about whining about those Obama-Hitler comparisons.

They may be vile, but they may be closer than Ms. Derrick would want to admit.

It’s the economy, stupid!

I’ve been going through my Reader, catching up on all my blogs, and I caught this fascinating article over on American Thinker.  Exactly Wrong, Again

“We are not in recession.  The economy of the last eight years has been fine.  And we are doing better than our European know-it-alls who favor an Obama victory.  At least that’s what the most recent economic data show.”

Statistically, we’ve been better under Bush than we were under Clinton, although Liberals would have you believe otherwise.  Taxes were much higher under Clinton, so don’t get so excited when Obama tells you he’s going to “put things back” to Clinton levels.  Be afraid, be very afraid.

Check out the article linked above and you’ll see what I mean.  It’s been better in America under Bush than it was under Clinton, and it’s better in America than it is in Europe.  So if Bush is supposed to be some kind of economic problem, why are things worse in Europe than they are here?

Tax Cuts!

Okay, yeah I admit it – Bush cut taxes on the rich.  Did you know you were rich?  I’m not rich, but amazingly, I got a tax cut too!  Funny thing – so did you.  Bush was better for you than Clinton was and guess what, McCain is better for you than Obama is.
